Account deletion
Use this page to understand how to request deletion of account-related data for PrayZone. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data processed in connection with optional sign-in and sync, send email from the address associated with your account (if applicable). Suggested steps:
- Address your message to support@prayzone.app.

Use the subject line
PrayZone account deletion request(or include the same wording so we can route your request). - In the body, include information that allows us to verify your request (for example, the email address you used to sign in, or other details we may reasonably ask for to confirm ownership of the account). We may need to follow up for security purposes.
2. What we aim to delete
After verification, where applicable we aim to delete or anonymize:
- Your account record and authentication identifiers tied to optional sign-in;
- Data you synced to our backend (such as saved places and preferences stored in Supabase or comparable systems), subject to technical implementation;
- Other information we hold that is linked to your account in an identifiable way.
3. What may be retained for a limited time
Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required or permitted by law, for legitimate security purposes, or in residual backups. For example, we may retain minimal records of a deletion request itself, fraud-prevention data, or information needed to comply with legal obligations. Such retention, where it occurs, is designed to be limited in scope and duration where feasible.
Data held exclusively by third parties (such as Google for Google Sign-In) is subject to those parties’ own tools and policies; you may manage some data through your Google account and device settings.
4. Local-only data on your device
Information stored only on your device (for example, data not tied to an account or not synced) may be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the App, depending on your device. That process is controlled by you locally and may vary by manufacturer and Android version.
